			<p>Cambridge Preparative Meeting was established by Bradford Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) in 1830. It was discontinued in 1848, and its members were attached to Caln Preparative Meeting (Hicksite).</p>

			<p>Monthly meeting records normally include minutes of men’s and women’s meetings for business and registers of births, deaths, marriages, removals (transfers), and disownments. In general, non-members are not mentioned in the minutes, even when they attended meeting for worship on a regular basis.</p>

					<p>Official records of proceedings kept for all Quaker business meetings. Only Quakers could participate. It has responsibility for care of members, authorizes removals and marriages, maintains discipline, considers the queries, manages meeting property, fosters social concerns, and reports regularly to the quarterly meeting. Beginning at the end of the 19th century, men and women ceased to hold separate business meetings, meeting instead in joint session.</p>
