SHORT HISTORY OF MEETING
Quakers began meeting informally in Frederick, Maryland, as early as 1981. Frederick Friends Worship Group, occasionally referred to as Catoctin Meeting, was established as Frederick Preparative Meeting under Bethesda Monthly Meeting in 1984. It was set off as a monthly meeting in 1987, and was transferred from Potomac to Warrington Quarterly Meeting.
