Could the tri-co libraries get a copy of The whole world was watching : living in the light of Matthew Shepard, by Romaine Patterson? It's a really good book.

Thanks!
Aimee

Aimee - Thanks for the suggestion! I'll see what we can do about getting it.

Can the library get a DVD copy of the movie Now and Then by Turner home entertainment? Haverford has it but it's a VCR movie.

Thanks!
Gina

Gina - Thanks for the suggestions! I'll pass your request along to our bibliographers.

My Dad's latest book:

Shakespeare, the Earl, and the Jesuit, by John Klause (Fairleigh Dickinson University Press, 2008).

Amanda - Thanks for the recommendation! I'll see what we can do!

Could the library get a copy of Stardust, the movie adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel (preferably on DVD)?

Laura - Thanks for the suggestion! I've passed it along to our bibliographers.

May I recommend "My Custom Van: And 50 Other Mind-Blowing Essays that Will Blow Your Mind All Over Your Face", a wholesome comedy, by Michael Ian Black? Perfect for Quita's Corner!

Thanks, Jenny! We will purchase a copy for Quita's Corner.

Can the library get Sugargirls and Seamen by Henry Trotter? It's a book about dockside prostitution in Cape Town that I read an excerpt from at a book fair in Cape Town which sounds really interesting!

Sophia - Thanks for the suggestion! I'll pass your request along to our bibliographers!

I'd love it if the library could get a copy of "Uncertain Peril" by Claire Hope Cummings. The book would help expand Bryn Mawr's environmental studies collection, as would "The Soul of Soil" (Joseph Smillie, Grace Gershuny).

Thanks, Anna! We'll be adding these soon.
