New Version of Web of Science Unveiled at Swarthmore
Next time you log in to Web of Science you'll discover that it looks very different. The new version of the database was loaded at Swarthmore this week. Designed with much input from researchers, librarians and students, this new version has some nice search features like the drop down boxes for choosing what fields you want to search. Multiple search boxes can be combined to create your search, then once you pull up your first set of citations, you can continue to refine your search using the REFINE RESULTS options in the left column. This new version of Web of Science works seamlessly with the new version of Endnote Web. Don't forget: if you have multiple screens of results and are selecting citations as you go, don't forget to select ADD TO MARKED LIST before going to the next screen. Then click on the MARKED LIST link and from there you can export your records to Endnote Web, email them to yourself, etc. Moving from one screen of results to the next without adding anything to the marked list will result in your citation selections being wiped away.
