Those awesome BMC Student Workers!
We few in the library who remain after most of the faculty and students are gone are privileged to have witnessed an extraordinary feat.
Between last Friday and Monday six remarkable women -- which is to say typical Bryn Mawrters -- moved thousands of end of the year library returns through our circulation system and back onto the shelves. Typically this massive end of the semester job requires reorganizing our periodical room to handle the overflow, and weeks of reshelving.
Credit goes primarily to our summer students. The honor roll of names:

They're not alone: many of our more than 30 regular semester Circulation staff took time of from finals, papers, and packing to go home to dash in and clear a truck or two. If you know any of these library stalwarts, give them a smile or a wave and a thank you next time see them, not because they expect recognition, but because they deserve it.
