Susan Turkel, Bryn Mawr College
I am Susan Turkel, the Outreach and Information Technology Librarian at Bryn Mawr College. You can reach me via email at sturkel [at] brynmawr [dot] edu, via telephone at (610) 526-7467, or in person in the Reference Office on the first floor of Canaday Library.
I enjoy helping students and faculty at the Reference Desk, and giving instructional presentations in classes around campus. I work closely with the social science departments on campus, especially the Graduate School of Social Work. I serve on several Tri-College committees including the Library Web Services Integration team (also known as LWSI).
I earned my BA in Sociology/Psychology at Wesleyan University; my MA in Sociology at UC San Diego; and my MLS at Rutgers University.
I love working as a librarian. When I'm not at work, I enjoy travelling, hiking, attending concerts, reading, writing, eating, and contra dancing.
