Kudos to Swarthmore's Rick Vallely
Richard Vallely '75 was awarded the 2005 Ralph Bunche Award from the American Political Science Association for his book "The Two Reconstructions: The Struggle for Black Enfranchisement". The award is for the best scholarly work in political science, published in 2004, which explores the phenomenon of ethnic and cultural pluralism.
