- To locate VIDEOS, select the "video/dvd" tab and try an "author/creator" search for the director or actor.
- You may also want to browse by GENRES (dvd, comedy, documentary, etc.) or COUNTRY
- Videos may be borrowed from Haverford or Swarthmore by using the REQUEST button in Tripod . Requested videos may be picked up at your Circulation desk, usually within 24 hours.
- Students may borrow up to 3 videos at a time for a 4 day period. If you need more access because of a research project, see Circulation Supervisor Melissa Kramer.
- Tri-College Newest Videos are included in the weekly New Books list. You can customize the page to alert you about new videos, via email or RSS.

These resources produced by the British Film Institute (BFI) and the American Film Institute (AFI) bring an unparalleled level of detail to research and they offer the most comprehensive and authoritative coverage of films available. Coverage varies. A more authoritative source than the IMDB.

The Internet Movie Database covers more than 100,000 movies and contains over a million and half filmography listings for actors, producers, directors and others associated with film making.
