Use one of these tools to keep track of your references (books, articles, websites, conference papers, etc.) In addition to keeping your set of citations organized, these tools can also format them for output as a bibliography list in any of the major citation styles.
What are the tools? Which one should I use?
- EndNote Web - if you use a variety of computers and want to have your database of citations available whereever you are, try EndNote Web. Your citations will live on a website and you can access them from anywhere. It's freely available to any member of the Tricollege community.
- Zotero - if you always use the same computer, and you use the Firefox web browser, you might like Zotero. Zotero is a free plugin for Firefox.
- EndNote - If you always use the same computer, you can try Endnote. Endnote is a commercial program with a full array of features.

EndNote Web (personal login for Tricollege community members)
EndNote Web is a tool for storing and managing your research citations. Store up to 10,000 citations, imported directly from Web of Science or via a download process from almost any other online database. You can also output a bibliography in any of hundreds of styles, or use "Cite While U Write" to include citations and a bibliography to your Microsoft Word documents.
