If you choose to create an Ebrary username and password, you will be able to access some very useful features:

• Highlight text in multiple colors.
• Type notes inside an e-book.
• Keep a Personal Bookshelf with links to your highlights, notes, and bookmarks.

With or without an Ebrary account, your online reading experience will benefit from the following features:

• InfoTools™ software lets you click on any word to get additional online information: define, locate, translate, search document, search Tripod, and more.
• Automatic citations every time you paste or print Ebrary content.
  
• Numerous ways to search and navigate documents:
• Stable links that integrate with Blackboard.

You can print up to 10 pages at a time and 40 pages per session.  To start a new session, copy the URL from the address bar, close your browser, start your browser again, and paste the URL into the address bar. 

If you are using a College public-area computer, you can already view any Ebrary e-book.  If you are using your own computer or an office computer on campus, you will need to download and install a small plug-in for your browser in order to view Ebrary's e-books.

The plug-in is quick to install and is well documented on Ebrary's main website.  If you'd like to install it now, you may follow this link directly to their download page.  If you have questions or problems with the Ebrary reader or website, you may follow the help link within the main Ebrary site or this link to their help and support page. And of course you can always get research help from your college librarians.
