The core mission of the Cultural Policy & the Arts National Data Archive (CPANDA) is to acquire, archive, document and preserve high quality data sets on key topics in arts and cultural policy, and make them available in a user-friendly format to scholars, journalists, policy makers, artists, cultural organizations, and the public.
Crime and Justice:
National Archive of Criminal Justice Data
Includes data for analysis. Data are from research studies, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, the DOJ, and other federal agencies. Topics include: Attitude Surveys, Community Studies, Corrections, Court Case Processing, Courts, Criminal Justice System, Crime and Delinquency, Official Statistics, Police, Victimization, Drugs, Alcohol, and Crime, Violence Against Women, Homicide Studies
Bureau of Justice Statistics
The mission of the BJS is to "collect, analyze, publish, and disseminate information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government." Includes corrections/prison information as well as all other stages of the criminal justice process.
Crme in the United States
Mostly composed from the Uniform Crime Reports, the reference volume includes data from states, cities and counties about reported crimes. These data extend back to the 1930's for some places.
