Provides abstracts of journals, books, book chapters, technical reports and dissertations. Areas covered include psychology and related disciplines, sociology, linguistics, education, medicine, law, physiology, business, psychiatry, and anthropology. Covers 1887-present and includes access to PsycARTICLES, a database that offers full-text access to articles from journals published by APA and allied organizations since 1988.

Provides full text access to articles from most of the 63 APA journals, back to volume 1. Covers general psychology and specialized, basic, applied, clinical, and theoretical research in psychology.
Web of science
Provider: ISI
Provides access to the Social Sciences Citation Index (1956-present), Science Citation Index, (1900-present) and Arts and Humanities Citation Index (1975-present).
Google scholar
Google Scholar often digs up good resources that the other databases don't. So it is a good database to use in addition to the others. Use the "Check Tripod" and "Find it @ Swarthmore" links to see if we have access to full text.

Non-TriCollege ILL - BOOKS: For books NOT available in Tripod, try E-Z Borrow and request books directly from nearby Pennsylvania & NJ libraries. Books usually arrive within a few days.
