You should look for media reports of one or more of the following (but at least one of the following):
- child development phenomenon widely accepted by the scientific community (e.g., attachment, gender stereotypes, sibling relationships, etc)
- a specific research study (e.g., “a new study reports…”),
- an interview with a researcher (e.g., “Dr. So-and-So, expert on Selected Topic, says…”)
Possible sources include:
- Popular magazines or newspapers
- Television, news programs
- Radio transcripts or podcasts (e.g., NPR)
