Politics: Finding political cartoons:
Step 2: Make a note of any important names associated with your event. There are a number of different keywords that might be used to retrieve articles or cartoons about a situation, including names of key individuals and organizations.
Step 2: Use a newspaper or journal database to browse for political cartoons published during that time span. In some databases, you can limit your search to "editorial cartoon" documents; in others, you will need to search for articles on the topic and browse related editorial pages for cartoons.

Music: Finding song lyrics:
You will also need to write about how your song fits into the cultural history of the era. Sources for evidence may include the following: interviews with the artists, criticism and reviews of their albums and concerts, and background research on the events or issues discussed in the lyrics.
Books, newspaper articles, and articles in mainstream magazines can all be good sources of this information.
