Logistics:
Library Logistics
*Ask your professor to request "proxy privileges" for you. Use his or her proxy card to check out books, request items from BMC, Swarthmore, E Z Borrow, and interlibrary loan. That way your professor can keep better track of all the materials for the project. The items on the proxy card will have longer due dates. The proxy card will also allow you to sign out the departmental photocopy card at Magill Library.
*You are welcome to pick a carrel in Magill to use for the summer. Please talk with a supervisor at the circulation desk to register your carrel choice. Library items in carrels need to be checked out.

*Haverford has instituted a new policy of providing documents that people can access in multiple ways (through print, screen magnifiers, or text-to-speech converters) In order to create documents that both print well and are compatible with other technologies is important to create documents from scans in greyscale format at a minimum resolution of 200dpi. For help with this process, please contact Reserves Librarian Theresa Donahue (tdonahue, x1176). More information (pdf)
