• Go to http://www.brynmawr.edu/library/

• In the Tripod box, select the RESERVES TAB
  

• Search by your professor's name or the course name (i.e. Spanish 351).

• Videos will be listed with call numbers, and will indicate whether they currently available or checked out.

• Bring the call number of the video to the Canaday Reserves Shelves (to the left of the stairs,) and find your video.
  

• Videos without call numbers and those labled Personal Copy, FRENCH RESOURCES, GERMAN RESOURCES, etc. will be shelved nearby in their own section, alphabetically by title of the video.

• Bring the video to the Circulation Desk for check out. Reserve videos check out for 3 hours.

• If you need help finding a video, please ask a the Reference or Circulation Desks (the big blue desk.)

REMEMBER TO RETURN THE VIDEO ON TIME!  Overdue fines are $1.00 per hour or portion thereof, and others may be waiting for the video. 

Yes! You can book a video for a specific time period.

• Look up the video in Tripod, or click on the video’s title in the reserve list.

• Select the orange “book reserves copy” button.

• Enter your name and your barcode number (from the back of your BMC ID card.)

• Select your preferred date and three hour time period.

·     The video must be picked up within 15 minutes of the booking time. Please do not book a video if you will not be able to watch it during that time, as this may inconvenience others.

Since there are a limited amount of videos on reserve, it’s a good idea (and more fun!) to view them with a group of classmates.

• One 42 " TV & a Multistandard VCR / DVD player for U.S. and international videos

• This is a group viewing area with a couch, chairs, meeting table and projector that seats approx. 12

• The door for this room is always open; you may watch a video here unless it is reserved for a class or a meeting
• Faculty or staff may book the room for meetings via Virtual EMS

• One 36" TV & a Multistandard VCR / DVD player for U.S. and international videos

• This is a group viewing area that seats approx. 8

• Check out the key from the Circulation Desk

• Individual Viewing stations with VCR/ DVD, some are multistandard

• Headphones are required! Headphones are available for check out at the Circulation Desk

• Doors to these rooms are always open

• 27" TV, VCR, Laserdisc player, seats 5-6

• 8.5" Diagonal Widescreen LCD players available for check out at the Canady Circulation desk on a first come, first served basis
