Provides access to an archive of downloadable social science data including Census data and Monthly Business Reports. Thousands of data files and documentation files.
International financial statistics
Provider: IMF
Contains time series data for most IMF members (over 200 countries) including data on a country's exchange rates, international liquidity, money and banking accounts, interest rates, production, prices, international transactions, government accounts, and national accounts as well as commodity and trade statistics. Also contains area and world tables for selected series. Covers 1940-present (coverage varies by country and variable).
LexisNexis statistical
Provides abstracts and indexes of statistical information from U.S. government publications from 1973, state and private sources from 1980, and approximately 2000 documents from international organizations from 1983. Full-text or web links provided for some citations.
Roper Center public opinion archives
Provides access to data from nearly a half million questions asked on national public opinion surveys, 1935 to present. Users can search the "iPOLL Databank" which is organized at the question level, or search at the dataset level using "RoperExpress" which allows immediate download of about 75% of the Center's public opinion studies conducted in the US from 1935 to present, and many recent studies from outside of the US.
STAT-USA Internet
Provides the most recent international trade information available from the National Trade Data Bank, the National Economic, Social & Environmental Data Base and the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Provides access to statistical publications that focus on economics and trade.
UN Statistics Division common database
Database that covers all countries and areas and selected series from more specialized international data sources.

World Development Indicators contains development data covering more than 575 indicators, 225 countries,and 18 regional and income groups. An extensive collection of data that includes population, income, social, economic, financial, natural resources, and environmental indicators. Covers 1960-present.
