Année philologique
The most comprehensive index for classics. Indexes and abstracts journals, collections, and conference volumes relating to classical literature, history, archaeology, law, and the classical tradition. Coverage online is from 1949 to 2005. Previous volumes (1924 to 1948) are in Carpenter Reference Z7016 .M35A; Swarthmore Reference PA3001 .M35a; Haverford Stacks Z7016 .M32.
DYABOLA
Contains several databases, the most important of which is the "Realkatalog des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts Rom," the most comprehensive database for classical archaeology. This database goes back to 1956, and succeeds the print Archaologische Bibliographie, which started in 1932 (Carpenter Periodicals DE 2 .D5). Journals, Festschriften, and collected studies are all covered; the main focus is on the Mediterranean world. International medieval bibliography-online.
Indexes international journal articles and collected studies in any field relating to the medieval world (classics, art, archaeology, history, theology, Islamic studies, music, etc.). Coverage is from 1967. To enter the site, click "Enter databases" and then "Go."

Includes citations for books, journal articles, and collected studies pertaining to the Middle Ages and Renaissance (400-1700). Coverage varies by title, but many journals are indexed from their first volume.

Full-text resource for many of the most important American and British journals in art, archaeology, and classics.

Very useful for locating older articles in journals in English and western European languages. The major archaeology, art, and classics journals are indexed, and coverage is from the first volume of the journal.

Patrologia Latina
The Patrologia Latina Database contains 221 volumes and represents a complete electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's Patrologiae Cursus Completus. Series Latina (1844-1855 and 1862-1865). Comprises the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. Migne's column numbers are also included. The entire set is available on fiche in McCabe (A-2), and certain volumes are available in print in Canaday (BR60 .M35).
