Science and Technology Studies research are widely scattered in history, social studies, anthropology, medical and science journals. A number of databases should be searched to get the diverse aspects of this field. Some journals are adequately searched in journal collections, which are also listed below.

History of science, technology, and medicine

Provides citations and some brief abstracts to journal articles, conference proceedings, books, book reviews, and dissertations in the history of science, technology and medicine and allied historical fields from prehistory to the present.

JSTOR

Provides full-text and page images from many of the top journals in most academic disciplines. Coverage is from the inception of the journal through three to five years ago.

ProQuest Research Library

Provides citations and full-text magazine and journal articles in a wide variety of disciplines, both scholarly and popular in scope. Covers 1971-present.

Project Muse

Provides access to journals published by the Johns Hopkins University Press. Disciplines covered are humanities, social sciences, and mathematics.

PubMed

Provider: NCBI

Includes over 15 million citations for biomedical articles back to the 1950's. These citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals. Limit by HISTORY subset.
